Love to here about good ship, squadon, upgrade combo's.
This is the single best Armada podcast out there right now. Chris, Ben, and Rikki have great discussions about the current meta(s), the state of the game, and what to expect next. They focus more on the European Armada scene, which is expected, but this podcast mostly sticks to the premier tier of play as opposed to being a teaching show. This is also the best podcast to learn about good ship/squadron/upgrade combinations, as it takes up much of their discussion.
Too many people talking over each other and poor audio makes this hard to listen to. Very knowledgeable hosts make it that much more infuriating that I can't really understand what is going on. Get some individual mics and don't rustle around while recording. I was listening to the upgrade episode and it sounded like crisp bags being crinkled over the hosts. I want to listen to you fine gentlemen. Help a guy out! I believe in you.
Very well informed, and experienced bunch of chaps. Glad to see someone is taking the time to make an Armada podcast as it's a great game.
If I had any criticism it would simply be that the content isn't all that beginner friendly - hosts will tend to mention a particular upgrade card/effect/tactic as being obviously good with little or no explanation as to why. If you have plenty of games and tournaments/events under your belt you will probably get a lot more from this show :)
It does a decent enough job of talking through new ships, cards, etc. but there are 4 hosts constantly talking over each other and breathing heavily into their Mics which is very distracting and takes away from the quality and professionalism.
