Angels are rational, spiritual beings created by God. God’s holy angels joyfully serve him in heavenly worship, and God appoints them to act as messengers, bringing words of guidance and assurance to the faithful, and assisting and protecting them.
Satan and his angels were overcome by envy and pride and re- belled against God.
Demons, of whom Satan is chief, are fallen angels. Satan rebelled against God and led other angels to follow him. They now cause spiritual and sometimes physical harm to mortals, and they sow lies that lead to confusion, despair, sin, and death.
Yes. Satan had already opposed God and chosen evil when he tempted Adam and Eve.

I found this podcast mildly interesting. That is until the narrator mentioned homosexuality has been considered evil for the last two thousand years and still is. What is actually true is that the Bible and Jewish Law referenced there in are anti-rape and anti-idolatry. Sexual orientation was not conceived until the 1860s. Yes, I completely agree rape and idolatry are evil. As with may matters, our understanding and perception of human sexuality has evolved. Sad this podcast is so ignorant truth... more

Excellent podcast! This is a thoughtful, devotional, rich meditation/commentary on the ACNA catechism.I was really moved by Richard Reeb’s succinct and moving explanation of one short section from the catechism. He also provides some good insights for how it applies in every day life.
