Peter it was great meeting you at Summer Con in Puyallup. I look forward to catching up on your podcast and to future podcast… Cheers , The other Peter
The many interviews are great. I’ve learned so much about the cast.
This show has been such a fun listen, watching it grow along side of the Cobra Kai show itself. Rooted in reviewing the original movies even before the Cobra Kai series was a thing and leading and supporting the fandom ever since. Very proud listener of this little show that could! Can’t wait to see how it all rounds off in this final season of this amazing show and what bonuses we have in store thanks to Peter and the Kompanion Network.
Watch Party is such a great addition for these recaps! No offense to the lady that was doing them before but Peter and WP have such better rapport, the episodes have a much better flow and are so enjoyable. Thank you!
This is a difficult podcast to listen to. The interviews are decent but the episode recaps go off on loose tangents, they get details wrong, talk over each other, and leave me wondering did they even take notes?
A lot of insight and interviews with the show. Must listen for any fan.
Hopefully someone has already pointed this out to you, im only a few episodes deep into the podcast, but how have yall not picked up on the fact that Daniel was already an adult by the time he participated in his first tournament?
He recieved that car as an 18th birthday present.
He was technically already too old to compete in the first All Valley tournament.
I’ve spent so many hours listening to this podcast that I’m running out of episodes to watch. I love all the interviews (Tony O’Dell was my favorite. What a cutie!) and listening to Brihana and Peter’s banter. Love you guys! Can’t wait for more Cobra Kai and CKK.
This is THE best Cobra Kai/Karate Kid podcast around! Peter and Brihana are the heart of the fan community. They've done an incredible job of covering Cobra Kai from its YouTube beginnings all the way through the Netflix boost, all the while honoring and celebrating the legacy of the Karate Kid and its cast. Highly recommended if you love this franchise.
CKK is the place to go for the best Cobra Kai analysis and breakdowns. Over 60 interviews with crew and cast mean they have more interviews than anyone other content creator. Fantastic hosts, fantastic community. CKK is truly a home for all fans new and old!
If you like beautiful books then this illustrated edition of a Terry Pratchett classic should really catch your eye!I have loved this book since I first read it, a long time ago. Like all Discworld novels, it manages to both turn the world upside down, while also making sense of it, and all the while allowing you to laugh. Gaurds, Guards first introduced us to Vimes, Lady Ramkin, Carrot, Nobby, Colon, et al! Not to mention an indept exploration of the Patrician and his mind! The plot is hilario... more
I love Cobra Kai and was looking for a podcast(I’m a big bald move fan but they aren’t covering it) This podcast was annoying and difficult to listen to!
This isn't a review of the novel. The story remains as excellent as it ever. Alas, this special edition is just not worth the high RRP. It's a standard hardback sized volume with standard paper with a few illustrations every so often. I was hoping for something special but it fails to deliver. Compare this to the excellent Illustrated Wee Free Men that was published several years ago.I'm happy to buy special editions but this just feels like fan exploitation, especially considering the RRP is £2... more
Guards! Guards! - The Paul Kidby illustrated edition. Great illustrations to a great Discworld story. BUT: Did the dragon on the front board of the book burn off the dust-wrapper - or was there never meant to be one (a dust-wrapper)? Even at the discounted Amazon price, I would have expected a DW (got bored typing dust-wrapper...). Other than the lack of a DW, I would highly recommend this edition & say it is a thoroughly worthwhile addition to Sir Terry's wonderful series of stories. If t... more
I never review, but I have to say how much I love this podcast. I only found it a few weeks ago and I went back to the very beginning to listen to all of it. I can’t get enough. Thank you for making my days better while I listen.
