Each week Graham and one of his stable of trusty co-hosts picks a pop movie and examines its history, its film-making and its music in-depth. When Max Planck began his ground-breaking work on quantum theory, do you think he realised it would be used to prove Satan is a flask of slime in the basement of a San Francisco church? This is - we think - the plot of Prince of Darkness, in every wa... more
Well, it's not Halloween without a bit of trick or treating, isn't it? Pop Screen's spooky month kicks off with an '80s teen horror that also allows us to remember one of the greats we lost this year - Ozzy Osbourne, whose short but hilarious cameo a... more

Fun podcast with a dedicated host. You can tell he is dedicated as he includes so many awful films. You have to be dedicated to watch things like the star wars Christmas special.
All the reviews are for the podcasts previous iteration, I guess. Thought I'd give pop screen its first UK review. It is a great podcast that fills a gap I know I didn't need filling.
Phrasing.
Seriously though, it can be fun when it wants to, serious when it wants to, and take the p**s out of Morrissey when it wants to. What more could you want?

I like that this podcast has a rotating cast of hosts, keeps everything very fresh. I also love that everyone has their own unique thing. Like Graham with Czech films that I have never heard of or Rob with his Japanese films. Everyone has their own expertise so it a few bases really well rather than spreading themselves really thin.
Northern accents are the best.
