Unfortunately, this episode on Dewey is inaccurate and incomplete in many of its details. If you want to learn more about Dewey and his writings on education, for starters, consider reading great biographies by Alan Ryan and Robert Westbrook.
Provides a good insight into church history!
As the title states, I tried listening to the episode on John Dewey and not only is the host bland, but she’s also awful in her research and presentation. Sister, John Dewey did not cause a Communist China. I hardly ever review anything, but just beware that this podcast is unprofessional and I would recommend another source when it comes to narratives on philosophy and philosophers.
So much rich, fascinating history! I’ve been binging episodes since discovering this podcast. The stories are easy to follow & I enjoy listening to Lorelee’s voice!
Very enjoyable listen and great storytelling aspect to church history with solid theology! So much better than a dry condensed version in a textbook! Thank you for this podcast!
