漫画家として生計を立てる道は、大きく３つあると思います。商業誌連載、電子プラットフォーム掲載、そしてAmazon等で収益化する方法です。どの道で勝負していくか、自身の適性とあわせ検討してみましょう。

漫画技術を語る上で欠かせないのが「めくり問題」。ページをめくらせるタイミングをコントロールすると同時に、めくった瞬間に読者を少し驚かせるような演出が欠かせません。
なぜなら、漫画は“リズム”で読ませるものだからです。
漫画の最小構成単位は「出来事・感情・感情」の3コマ。この繰り返しでリズムが生まれ、読者を物語へと引き込みます。
ページ構成も同様です。構成のしっかりした漫画は、概ね4ページごとに場面転換が入りますが、注意して読めば転換点は「主人公の能動的感情」で区切られていることがわかります... more
物語の中の「時間」は、1ページあたりどれぐらいのペースで進むのが望ましいか。答えはズバリ「1秒〜1分」ほど。4ページなら、4分程度までを描くのが限界でしょう。
それ以上の時間を描こうとすると、物語のリズムが崩れ、読者は臨場感を失ってしまいます。逆に臨場感のある物語ほど、読者の読む時間と漫画内の時間はシンクロしているはずです。
だからこそプロの漫画家は「ページ内で時間を早送りする」のではなく、「ページ内はゆっくり進め、話やページの切り替わりタイミングでパッと飛ばす」描き方をしています。

重い感情、いわゆる“クソデカ感情”を描きたいと考えている方、実は多いと思います。ただ、やりすぎると読者が離れてしまうかもしれず、どの程度配慮しながら描くべきかの判断も難しいのではないでしょうか。
