  • Really good conversation

I really enjoy the podcast. Please improve the audio quality, I don’t know if it’s the microphones or noise gating but it would make the podcast even better.

  • You guys run your mouth too much

Some real quality content on here at times but my god you two have no issue running people into the ground for no reason at all. I’ve listened to you call people within the organization cowards, liars and “as personable as a stick of butter.” You constantly rag on the local newspaper and their hall of fame and future hall of fame baseball writers for myriad reasons. Among them being too old or too agreeable to Cards management. I didn’t like Matheny either but to infer he’s racist is a bridge too... more

  • You should have Ben listening

Great premise—recording shows when the Cards aren’t playing.

Great hosts—both Bens are remarkably knowledgeable and willfully my to lay out the rationale for their thinking.

Great camaraderie—it’s obvious these hosts have a deep connection, forged in person as well as at a high brow frat house.

Subscribe if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

121. A Book of Letters for Mo
Q: What are you going to be looking for in the remainder of the season?
I'm going to be watching Liam Doyle, the Cardinals' first-round pick, as he transitions to AA after a stint in A-ball, which shows the team's confidence in him.
121. A Book of Letters for Mo
Q: What would you write to Mo in A Book of Letters?
I think mine would definitely be framed in the positive, focusing on how he handled the tough transition period in his early tenure, despite the challenges.
118: When will it be Chaim Time?
Q: Why are you guys so down on McGreevy?
The hosts reflect on their opinions about McGreevy's potential and the tendency of fans and media to overhype players.
116. The Deadline Pod
Q: What player would you trade that would seem to be unavailable, but might change the trajectory of the Cardinals?
I would suggest trading Brendan Donovan, as he's at the peak of his value and while he's a solid player, he might not be a core player for future competitive teams.
116. The Deadline Pod
Q: How surprised were you, Dan, that someone traded for Fetty?
I was surprised that a contender would take on Fetty despite his recent performance, as he seemed more like a project than someone a playoff team would want.
