  • Go Cards

Great insight and updates on Louisville Cardinals athletics. Also some lighter moments as they tell stories from the glory days, and navigating parenthood which has me laughing a lot as I have similar experiences and can relate.

  • Would give 6 stars but

They don’t use the theme songs anymore and they sure do talk an awful lot about the piss poor Reds for a Louisville sports podcast. Good thing they caked their pants in the wildcard so we should be getting a respite from that. Wouldn’t stop me from listening either way, though. Go Cards for life

  • Them CC bois

This is the best podcast to learn about Louisville sports. And by that, I don’t mean the University of Louisville. I mean the athletic exploits of Danny in the city of Louisville in the late 90s.

  • Love this pod

I was having a bad morning until I randomly remembered a Mike in the mud story from a couple years ago... more specifically the dream dongs story. I had to listen to it again and what do you know, it made my morning a little brighter. Anyways, this is the best listen for Cards fans, Mike and Danny keep it real and fun for their listeners. Only downside is that there isn't more episodes!

Q: How far can the team go this year?

TEN!
Q: How has Pat been able to squash the narrative that his ideas on defense were similar to Chris Mack's?
His coaching style is totally different than Chris Mack's, focusing on man-to-man defense rather than a pack line, proving effective through the season.
Is Miami in for a Jeff Brohm October surprise?
Q: If you win the toss on Saturday, do you take the ball to ensure Miami doesn't score quick?
I wouldn't, just because Louisville's defense has shown some ability to step up when needed, but controlling the game is key.
The CC Podcast 2024 Halloween Spooktacular
Q: How do you think the Louisville team will perform against Clemson?
Both hosts feel that it will be a challenging game but are hopeful for a close encounter.
2024 feels an awful lot like 2023
Q: If we're doing overall grades for this season, for Jeff Brom's first year, what are you going with?
B+ seems acceptable considering the ups and downs, but recency bias may affect that judgment.
