I listen to a lot of car podcasts and this one is the best. The contrast between Jill and Tom is hilarious. Tom is this old dude (like me) who respects car history and mechanical stuff. Jill is this incredibly hard working social media journalist type, young who cares about tech and comfort and utility. Jill also has the best radio voice ever. The quizzes are hilarious. I have no idea why this isn't more popular.
I listened to Jill on another podcast, thought she was great then I heard this podcast & it may be one of the top 3 automotive podcasts as a duo with the gentleman who is insanely knowledgeable! I’m subscribed!
Love love listening to Tom, fun easy going and informative. Very listenable. His partner not so much, sorry. She’s great on social media because you rarely hear her but she’s a bit annoying and the two don’t have great chemistry— she actually sounds like she doesn’t like Tom too (weirdly passive aggressive).

I think you’re missing the point. You say that there’s a good warranty, which is true. You say batteries won’t deplete to 10%, which seems a little off. The fact is, whether they drop to 10% or not, they’ll need to be replaced eventually.
Perhaps you’re even misleading people by saying we shouldn’t worry about buying a used EV. The fact is, eventually, whoever owns it after 100,0... more

We have a Grand Cherokee hybrid. 2023. It has the 2.0 turbo engine and a 25 mile range battery. We love the technology and we can almost make it through the day with only a little use of the engine. And we can get to Colorado and play in the dirt using a pretty torky combination of motor and battery.
I get the complaint but I have a good car and don’t have to go to the ... more
