This is a completely unhinged podcast. The one host, Jill, is a lunatic. Apparently getting jack jacked in the crime ridden city of Chicago grants you the clearance to “report” on cars.
Stopped subscribing after the most recent one. No one is perfect. But please have some respects of the countries and their languages/cultures where the cars are made and designed. They make what we all love (cars) unique and enjoyable. The hosts completely miss that point and for any car enthusiast, that is nothing but disappointing. And please do not say we were just kidding.
There are good auto themed podcasts and great ones. This one is great. Tom and Jill know their stuff and have a relaxed, affable style. They never disappoint.
Tom is comfortably soothing in his delivery and always informative. After years of listening to him on WGN, have been enjoying this. Jill, although I have tried to love her, has a voice and ticks that are like nails on a chalkboard. She’s super knowledgeable but her delivery needs helps. Fun Game: take a shot of whiskey every time she says “OK” and be prepared to be drunk quickly.
Very entertaining (at times quite humorous) and informative car podcast for regular mainstream car lovers. Tom and Jill have great banter. Not too industry hardcore, yet you always learn something from each show. An easy listen.
