  • restores faith

I don't agree with everything said by the people intervied(or done by the legislature)...but these conversations restore my faith a little bit in our state legislature. At least we have reasonably bright, articulate and thoughtful people struggling in good faith with difficult issues. It seems all that is in the newspapers and blogs are controversies, scandal, and the "horserace" of campaigns, etc. It's interesting (for me at least) to hear my legislator and others talk more in depth about th... more

  • Good show -- never heard anything like it before.

I stumbled across this podcast trying to find something else, and now I wish they'd make more. It's about politics but it's not political -- there's no Us vs. Them, no screaming, no name-calling or fireworks. It's just political-types talking calmly about their jobs. If there were more shows like this, maybe people would come to see how pointless and "show-biz" the screaming heads are. Interesting.
