Honestly feels like hanging with friends and having them explain the weirdo intricacies of comics and just all sighing together at the ridiculousness. Comics are so crazy and stupid and fun and wild and they really get into it with the characters. Love it, highly recommend!
Perfect if you want a crash course on whatever weird character just showed up in the end credits of the latest MCU project. The hosts' friendship and enthusiasm are consistent across the MASSIVE backlog of characters.
I really love this podcast. The hosts are so knowledgeable about their subjects and relay the information and in such a fun way that it feels like a casual conversation between friends. Definitely my favorite comic book related podcast. The episodes also provide a list of recommended comics for the character/team the episode is about which is such a great bonus. Great podcast for new and experienced comic readers!
As a fan of Colleen Wing, I was excited to get into this episode. But when every other word is ‘err’, ‘umm’ it makes it really hard to get into the episode so I had to turn off. The presenters did say they were really tired when recording this episode and couldn’t wait for it to be over, which could have been a reason. Absolutely cannot stand the presentation. The number of ‘ums and uhs’ is literally painful to my ears, never mind the bad sound quality of sounding like a far away phone call. Please practice or write a script b/c it’s so terrible I can’t even get through one episode.
