새 해 첫 책은, 다시 천선란 작가의 소설입니다. 시간이 어떻게 가는지 모르게 모든 인물들의 이야기에 빠져들었고 다 읽고 나서는 숨을 한 번 몰아쉬기도 했습니다. 생이 그냥 이어지는 게 아니라 누군가의 지켜봄으로, 누군가의 손길로 이어지기도 한다는 걸 또 이 소설을 통해 생각했어요. 새해 복 많이 받으시고, 올해도 우리 같이 책 많이 읽어요.
그냥 지나가기 아쉬워서 2025년의 끝을 붙잡고 인사를 드립니다. 한 해 동안 띄엄띄엄 오는 저희를 늘 반겨주셔서 감사했습니다. 2026년에도 최선을 다해 여러분을 만나러 올게요. 건강하세요.

세상이 모두 무너졌을 때, 너와 나는 어디에서 뭘 하고 있을까. 만약에...로 시작되는 대화에서나 등장하던 그 현실이 이 소설 안에 있습니다. 천선란 작가의 연작소설, 좀비 아포칼립스 3부작인데요 좀비물을 좋아하는 사람과 좀비물을 못 보는 사람이 모두 재밌게 읽었다는 후문입니다.
