  • Best AZ Sports Radio Show

Love how these guys jump right into it and don’t waste time shooting the breeze or trying to intertwine comedy in their segments (like Bickley and Marotta). Burns and Gambo have the best chemistry of all three shows. Gambo is full of energy and makes me laugh but he’s kind of all over the place. Burns keeps things on track and keeps Gambo in check when he goes off on some random tangent. They compliment each other perfectly with their personalities and they cover so much in each segment. • Generic & Predictable

Phoenix and it’s sports media are pretty bland and the fans have accepted that. Gambo comes in loud and brash but really he’s just trying to be a big fish in a very small pond. You listen to his takes and it’s pretty generic and predictable, the guy is pretending to put on this tough guy NY Act and it just doesn’t fly. I get why he left NY. He wouldn’t make it as a pizza delivery guy there, let alone a radio host. The sheep in AZ will continue to support him because he’s so “different” but it’s ... more

  • A good mix of personalities

A lot of people don’t like Gambo because he is pompous and likes to brag about his hot young wife, his connections he uses to get inside info, his vacations, his house(s), his goats, the stories he breaks, his health for his age, his physical prowess, his lack of education, his boxing career, his mafia connections, his hobbies, his musical taste, his wife’s hobbies, his childhood friends and probably some other stuff but I enjoy listening to him. Burns is great too. Very humble and relatable. Ov... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Haywood Highsmith, Phoenix Suns forward
Q: How did the Suns' pursuit of you come together, and what did the process look like before you signed?
There were conversations with the Suns throughout my free agency, and I'd already been connected with the organization from prior years; eventually the fit made sense, and I signed with the team, looking forward to contributing when I could.
Jalen Green, Phoenix Suns guard
Q: What were you thinking in that moment after the move where the opponent fell?
I wanted everybody to see what I saw, mainly to hype the crowd and keep the energy up, not to disrespect anyone, just having fun and staying in the moment.
Hour 3: Kyler Murray is officially off the Arizona Cardinals
Q: What are the latest destinations being discussed for Kyler Murray after his release?
The hosts outline several possibilities, with Minnesota seen as the front-runner for a starting role, while other teams like the Rams, Texans, Falcons, Jets, and Steelers are considered potential backups or future options, emphasizing a measured, visit-led approach rather than immediate moves.
Hour 1: Why Kendrick Bourne chose the Arizona Cardinals
Q: What attracted you to the Cardinals besides the money?
Bourne cites the opportunity to work with Coach LaFleur, the culture, and the role he can play in a system that values development and competition, which aligns with his career goals.
Jorge Barrosa, Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder
Q: Is that a goal the next time it comes around, maybe make that roster?
Yes, what do you need to do to get there? I don't know, I'll keep working hard and stay focused on the process.
