  • Best AZ Sports Radio Show

Love how these guys jump right into it and don’t waste time shooting the breeze or trying to intertwine comedy in their segments (like Bickley and Marotta). Burns and Gambo have the best chemistry of all three shows. Gambo is full of energy and makes me laugh but he’s kind of all over the place. Burns keeps things on track and keeps Gambo in check when he goes off on some random tangent. They compliment each other perfectly with their personalities and they cover so much in each segment. • Generic & Predictable

Phoenix and it’s sports media are pretty bland and the fans have accepted that. Gambo comes in loud and brash but really he’s just trying to be a big fish in a very small pond. You listen to his takes and it’s pretty generic and predictable, the guy is pretending to put on this tough guy NY Act and it just doesn’t fly. I get why he left NY. He wouldn’t make it as a pizza delivery guy there, let alone a radio host. The sheep in AZ will continue to support him because he’s so “different” but it’s ... more

  • A good mix of personalities

A lot of people don’t like Gambo because he is pompous and likes to brag about his hot young wife, his connections he uses to get inside info, his vacations, his house(s), his goats, the stories he breaks, his health for his age, his physical prowess, his lack of education, his boxing career, his mafia connections, his hobbies, his musical taste, his wife’s hobbies, his childhood friends and probably some other stuff but I enjoy listening to him. Burns is great too. Very humble and relatable. Ov... more

LuJames Groover, Arizona Diamondbacks infielder
Q: What was it like sharing the news with your parents, and how did they end up being in attendance for your first big-league hit?
I called them late at night and they ended up catching a flight to the next day's game, so having them there for that first hit felt like a special, surreal moment.

Hour 4: How Ketel Marte has grown this season

Marte has become vocal and more engaged with teammates, pushing them to take ownership of their performances, which has correlated with improved production and a more accountable clubhouse.

I called my dad right away; it was late at night in Oklahoma City, and the family was pumped; I was excited and nervous about the next day.
Hour 4: Spurs soar to Western Conference title
Q: What are your first memories of rooting for the Giants?
If anything, honestly, my earliest memories of watching baseball was honestly watching the Yankees play at the A's.
