This is my favourite Witcher-related podcast. I love the deep dives into the books/short stories especially. There’s a lot to talk about and there are some great discussions that come up. I’m rereading the books right now and have been enjoying listening to the episodes along with each story.
I have bounced around between many podcasts looking for great Witcher content, and I finally found it!
When it comes to discussing Witcher-related things, whether it’s the show, the books, or the deeper lore around it, this is the single best podcast out there. Full stop!
A wonderful deep dive into every element of the Witcher universe. The guest are interesting and the host fantastic. If you love the books, tv show or the games this is the best Witcher podcast around.
I'm only a handful of episodes in as of this review, but it's the guests and perspective they bring that makes this podcast so engaging.
When dealing with translated works, the shadows of "I wonder what's being lost in translation/localization?" usually looms in my mind. To have an array of guests that have read either the original Polish or other translations give their perspectives on the text really gives a robust look into the work!
Alyssa and her international hanza discuss Sapkowski’s books and also the Netflix show. They go deep. They go really deep. The sound quality is excellent. Conversations are engaging and intelligent. Really professional production recorded on a shoestring budget from what I understand. I listened to the audio version of the books and missed some things. This podcast helped me to understand certain events from the books. Keep up the good work!
This podcast is made with such enthusiasm and such passion, interesting subjects are talked about that connect with the book’s and show’s subjects. Absolutely adore this podcast!
A wonderful podcast for fans of the Witcher series old and new. The rotating International host idea keeps things fresh and gives a wide perspective. I am looking forward to continuing to listen throughout the whole series.
Pure and wholesome, the light of my (every other) Thursday. I really love this podcast and I appreciate how much thought and effort is put into it. I love hearing the perspectives of Witcher fans all over the world.
Love the professionalism and hosts. They offer an outstanding show . Must listen !
Love the podcast, looking forward to podcasts discussing the Netflix show.
My favorite podcast on the Witcher books. I really like the level of detail the reviewers go into with each chapter. I also really like that each episode has guests from around the world including guests who are from Poland and can analyze the text from the original Polish and point out the differences from the English translation. The best podcast!!! If you a fan of the Witcher books this is the podcast for you. Thanks
Im a big fan of the Witcher and had a lot of fun listening to this show. Lots of information and jokes made me laugh especially from the last episode (5th) , this russian guy was cool. Hope to hear more such interesting guests, new facts and less simple reading.
Breakfast in Beauclair is a great addition to the world of Witcher content creators. Although it is relatively new, the creator, Alyssa, shows clear dedication to the show. She brings along co-hosts with a very close relationship to the Witcher series which causes some very interesting discussions and memorable moments. Apart from that, the podcast doesn’t take itself too seriously. It has the perfect balance between fun banter that makes it entertaining to listen to and serious discussions that... more
Love the discussion and different angles you put the stories to. The additional content makes it even more interesting to listen. I didn’t expect much interest in fragrances from my side but loved the story! Keep them coming!
