I have listened since the very first episode aired, and I've not had a podcast make me laugh quite so hard so often before!
Recently started listening to the podcast and I’m going through the back log first. So far it’s been great! The improvisers are very expressive and have great voices, plus they have good chemistry with one another. Improv podcasts are my favorite, and, since some of my favorites are either over or on their last season, I was happy to find another that is still going strong. I listened to the whole first season at work yesterday. Two of my favorite podcasts are The Adventure Zone, which is a d&d actual play show, but I think BTD fixes a lot of the pacing issues of actual play, and Mission to Zyxx, which I believe is the new York UCB, and I think their production is on par with that. Actually structurally I think BTD works better because of the dice rolling element. The fact they have been doing this so long shows, there's none of the wobbliness most shows like this ... more
I was never into RPGs and came across this pod by accident to be honest. Since then I’ve gone as far as starting my own d&d campaign with friends. Whether they’re submarining with Doc or swindling trapped souls to flash them, these characters are hilarious. Never a dull episode.
