This pair is unable to stay on topic. I listened to the episode on My Lovely Wife, spent a lot of time on their personal lives and then didn’t even properly remember the plot or the characters. Analysis is very weak
Less talking about nonsense, less vocal fry, less whining... then maybe this would be worth listening to.
I love this podcast! I honestly don’t read books for leisure as I don’t have time so listening to Roxana and Judith describe a book in 40-60 minutes gives me joy. It makes me feel like I read the book even though I know I really didn’t. I also like how relatable they are when they talk about other things such as school and the quarantine. Also this whole podcast is just so relaxing - their voices are so calming and their laughter is contagious.
Love listening to these women share their thoughts on great books and also their lives. It feels like you’re sitting in the room with them chatting about a book you’ve all read. Their laughter is contagious and I find myself talking aloud to them, sometimes agreeing and sometimes not. Love, love, love it and look forward to listening and laughing out loud each week.
I listen to plenty of book podcasts, and this is definitely a fun one to follow! I particularly enjoyed their latest episode on The Golden Cage by Camilla Läckberg.
