"Smile" with special guest, Brady J. Sadler

Hammerfall was a significant influence for me, and there are several callbacks to metal and thrash bands in the story that reflect that era.
"Smile" with special guest, Brady J. Sadler
Q: How do you find time to do research for all these projects?
A lot of it comes from my consumption of media, constantly reading, watching movies, and shows. I enjoy the process of finding ideas rather than traditional research methods.
"Smile" with special guest, Brady J. Sadler
Q: What do you take from making tabletop games that you bring into your book, or what is the process of your world creation?
With Acrid Sky specifically, the Malice of Light series, it was originally intended to tie into a game project. The world-building is consistent across projects, driven by my passion for creating scenarios in both tabletop games and writing.
Event Horizon vs Slither
Q: What do you think of it?
It's been at least 10 years since I have seen Event Horizon. I consider movies like that entertaining for me.
