台北雙年展長年以國際策展視角回望在地經驗，成為台灣與世界對話的重要平台。自1998年成形以來，它不僅呈現當代藝術的多元面貌，也持續梳理台灣在歷史與全球語境中的位置。
第14屆台北雙年展以「地平線上的低吟」為題，由提爾．法爾拉特與山姆．巴塔維爾共同策劃，邀集72位藝術家參與，多件作品為因地創作。展覽以「思慕」為核心，透過影像、文學與當代創作交織記憶與歷史，使個人經驗與島嶼現代化歷程在展場中相互映照；新作並與北美館典藏並置對話，形塑跨越時代的觀看視角。
