  • Sensational and informative

Brother Dilly has developed his abilities/skills (AHB) massively over the years. His style of sharp yet respectful questioning is one of the best out there currently. He also has a unique way of keeping conversations flowing even in disagreements of opinions. The varied selection of guests is key to the issues facing the UK Muslims as well as the wider ummah. Big up to 5 pillars as a whole. May Allah bless their hands.

  • Truly a gem

The show is a recent discovery of mine. Absolutely love it! The topics covered are not only timely but also crucial, especially considering how often they're overlooked by legacy media. This podcast is doing a big service to the Ummah by shedding light on issues that truly matter. Keep up the great work!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bob Vylan | Britain, Racism, Transatlantic Slavery & D**th D**th To The IDF | BB #200
Q: From a scale to one to 10, how significant was the Glastonbury moment and the reaction to it?
The moment is significant in terms of public visibility and career impact, but its deeper significance lies in how it reflected broader political currents and provoked a national conversation about protest, free speech, and the boundaries of acceptable discourse in mainstream culture.
Tadgh Hickey | Sumud Flotilla, Israeli Jail, Iran War, Zionism & Sobriety | BB #199
Q: Did you manage to speak to Greta Thunberg about Palestine and Gaza and Israel and Zionism?
Yes, Greta connected various causes, including climate justice and Palestine, seeing the Palestine movement as part of a broader struggle against oppression; she remained fearless and continued her activism despite the harsh conditions on the boat.
Tadgh Hickey | Sumud Flotilla, Israeli Jail, Iran War, Zionism & Sobriety | BB #199
Q: Tell me about the flotilla, your decision to go, how it was, and then how you end up spending time in an Israeli prison?
I decided to go for a tangible way to raise awareness and push for political change, despite the pain of leaving my kids. The experience involved intense drone attacks, a sense of strategic danger, and eventual detention in an Israeli prison where medical care was restricted and interrogation was intense, which highlighted the impunity many associate with those actions.
Bushra Shaikh | Monetising Hate, Belonging to Britain & The Iranian People | BB #198
Q: What was your experience like traveling to Iran and reporting from there?
She describes the hospitality as remarkable, emphasizes she reported what she saw and believes the freedoms there allowed respectful critique without endangering people, and notes certain red lines in reporting. She also stresses the need to understand Iran's internal dynamics and the limits of external commentary.
Ayoub Khan MP | Maccabi Tel Aviv, West Midlands Police & The Muslim Vote | BB #189
Q: What do you think will happen in upcoming elections for candidates like Shabana Mahmood?
She'll definitely lose her seat, as the political landscape is changing significantly in Birmingham.
