If you like the adventures of the Liberator gang this is a fun insightful, sometimes sideways look at the episodes.
Really interesting to listen to Jim and Martin’s views when they coincide or differ from mine. Some great observations and they share a warmth of affection for the show with all its many highs and occasional lows.
Unreservedly recommended.
The Doctor Who one is not bad either.
Been a big fan of Blake’s 7 ever since discovering my dads old VHS of ‘Voice From the Past’ and ‘Gambit’ when I was a kid. Though not the best episodes to start with, I was hooked! Discovered this podcast completely by accident and absolutely love it! Jim and Martin know their stuff and are very informative, as well as being highly comedic. Would love to see these two on stage, they play off each other so well. Would highly recommend! 👍
Being a similar age and having the same juvenile sense of humour as these two often makes me question whether I’m listening to a podcast or my own intrusive thoughts. Either way, my mind-numbingly boring drive to work has been made bearable. Cheers.
Jim and Martin review each episode of the much loved Blake’s 7 series. The podcast is a must listen each month. Jim and Martin critique the show, the plots, the world building and characters. I always try to rewatch the episode before the podcast so I can follow along.
Discovered the Mutoid Podcast completely by chance having not watched Blake’s 7 for about 20 years. I initially listened to podcasts covering my favourite episodes, but soon realised that I’d be missing out if I didn’t listen to them all. The humour is spot on, and there’s great attention to detail on the cast, plot (including the odd hole or two!), themes and locations. Definitely worth a listen, thanks guys!
