  • Back brace

I’ve heard anyone discuss that Kennedy’s back brace not only kept him sitting upright but also is why a front shot bullet was “caught” and later found in the seat. Am I missing something? Was he not wearing his brace?

  • What The What?

Is Len Osanic developmentally disabled? He’s definitely a right winger, ironic given they were the ones who did kill JFK.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#1305 – April Oliver / Jack Smith
Q: What is the core factual claim of the Valley of Death report that you stand by?
We stand by the core claim that sarin gas was used in the Tailwind operation, supported by multiple sources and on-record testimonies, and that the reporting was shredded by external pressure rather than a lack of evidence.
#1304 – Andrew Kiel, Jim DiEugenio
Q: Did Hoover help shape or hinder the Warren Commission's conclusions?
The guests suggest Hoover's influence and relationships with Johnson and other officials helped steer the political environment and may have indirectly affected the Commission's results and subsequent investigations.
#1304 – Andrew Kiel, Jim DiEugenio
Q: Now, what's your opinion of J. Edgar Hoover? Do you have a favorable view of him, or?
Hoover is not favorably viewed by Kiel and DiEugenio; they argue Hoover maintained power through blackmail and information control, often aligning with Johnson and influencing the Kennedy investigation and Vietnam policy.
#1293 – Jerry Coley
Q: How close was the blood on the steps to the street, and do you think it connected to the assassination itself?
The blood appeared on the esplanade steps leading down to Elm Street, very near the area where the crowd gathered, and I personally believe it had a connection to the events surrounding the shooting, though I cannot claim certainty about the full chain of causation.
#1293 – Jerry Coley
Q: So what you're saying is that around 8 in the morning and at 11 in the morning you saw Jack Ruby.
Yes, he was there in the news office at those times; I confirmed his presence during the morning coffee and later during the events around the parade area, which linked him to the morning activities.
