    We are black so deal with it. Just because we’re different from others doesn’t give you the right to beat and harass people. What did we do to you? If you were black we wouldn’t hurt you at all, god made this world for everyone. Let white people and black people just live there life together, stop throwing rocks at us, stop shooting us with a fire truck, stop calling us bad names.     Hearing scholars analyze history from a perspective other than the one we have been fed during our formal school experiences is affirming. More important I feel as if I am actually being well educated. The linear approach we have traditionally used to examine phenomena weakens everyone. These lectures should live next to all structured curricula in world and American history.
