영국에 온 첫 달, 버킷리스트를 적었다. 2년이라는 기한이 있으니 왠지 뭐라도 적어야 이루어질 것 같았다. 8개월이 지난 지금 다시 펼쳐보니 의외로 절반이나 이뤘다는 사실이 조금 신기했다. 물론 커리어와 관련된 내용은 전무하고 취미와 소소한 쾌락만 가득했지만. 우연히 발견한 고2 시절의 버킷리스트와 결이 닮아 있다는 사실도 재미있었다. 이번 화에서는 영국 워홀 버킷리스트 Ver.2를 새로 써본다.
학창시절엔 매년 다른 사람을 좋아하던 짝사랑 전문가였다. 연애를 시작하면서부터는 내가 사랑으로 움직이는 사람이란 걸 알게 됐다. 혼자만의 시간을 즐기는 시기와, 사랑으로 움직이는 시기를 반복하다가 영국에 왔다. 30대 중반이 된 지금, 오랜만에 다시 깨어난 연애세포에 귀 기울여본다.
파리에서 돌아온 뒤, 판타지가 무너진 자리에 무기력이 찾아왔다. 공백을 채우려고 데이팅앱을 깔고 낯선 사람과 대화했고, 처음 보는 사람들과의 식사 모임에 나갔다. 판타지를 버리지 않고 '지금, 여기' 현실 속에서 행복해지는 법을 고민해본다.
