The first thing to know is that at least one-third of every episode is ads. It’s ridiculous and makes the whole series not worth hearing. As for the substance, it’s a lot of empty noise. There is an official podcast for the HBO show, which I listen to and would recommend. more
Really enjoying this series, but how can Matt NOT catch on that his habit of running out of breath and having his voice trail is super annoying and distracting. Easily fixable.
Little to no value add beyond what is in the show. Constant podcast cliches and disingenuous banter between two men. Only worth it if you are out of other things to listen to.

At first there was a thirst for historic accuracy, but it now apparent how the thoughtful weaving of facts and dramatization is creating an impressive and immersive viewing experience. The spot on acting and atmospheric portrayal of the 70’s-80’s L.A. is not to be missed. Your podcast is shining light where it is needed on the fascinating characters along with societal issues we still deal with today.... more
