  • What timing

It’s amazing this podcast was started as the Knicks began their unexpected turnaround and breakout season culminating in their first playoff appearance in a decade and their first shot at winning a round (or even a game) in even longer. It’s almost like Sal, Producer Jake, and the inimitable JYD are the reason for the season. A fun listen every week. Insightful reflections and great guests. Serve with steak, but not Sizzler.

Do Knicks Have Best Chance To Go Back-To-Back Since Warriors? | NY Got Game
Q: Vincent Goodwill's take about the Larry O'Brien trophy and the idea of chasing dynasties—how does that sit with Knicks fans and fans of parity in the league?
Dynasty parity can be exciting because it provides a landscape with multiple contenders; while some fans push back on 'participation trophies,' others enjoy a competitive era with meaningful titles and rivalries; the Knicks' title run contributes to that dynamic but debates about dynasties will persist.

Q: How much does roster construction and off-season moves matter when you're trying to sustain a window after a championship?
Roster flexibility and capitalizing on short-term deals with bargains can be smart, especially given the new cap realities; you don't always need every piece in place by July and sometimes you assemble the puzzle over time, including through mid-season moves.

Q: What will you do with the banner at the parade?
We'll bring the original banner and add a small update to include another year, keeping it as a preserved piece of Knicks history while still honoring 1973.
