  • Nolan is one unstoppable

Nolan takes on case after case of investigations, and doesn’t stop without results.

Additionally, Nolan’s Stonegate investigation is very interesting.

One journalist I will always follow, hard hitting, no nonsense and works hard for all listeners. Whether it’s an elderly lady Jean with rats in her home, ignored by the council. Or a young 19 year old gentleman fighting for his father to receive his life saving operations from pancreatic cancer.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Oil and fuel prices hike - are big companies profiteering and exploiting US-Israel war with Iran for profit?
Q: Why are heating oil prices rising so dramatically when the base crude price has only risen modestly?
Industry voices explain the jump is largely due to sharp increases in refined product pricing, the knee-jerk reaction of distributors to post daily wholesale prices, and global market dynamics—not just crude costs—feeding into local heating oil pricing.
MLA pay - why aren't any of our politicians publicly backing the proposed pay hike?
Q: What do people think about the proposed pay increase?
Many callers express outrage at the notion of a significant pay raise for MLAs at a time when public sector workers are receiving minimal raises amidst cost-of-living pressures.
New bye-laws for buskers and street preachers for Belfast blasted by some councillors and performers
Q: How do the new regulations affect local buskers?
Jordan claims the new regulations will stop busking altogether as they require a sound level much quieter than what is needed to be heard over city noise.
Questions remain for the PSNI after they admit to illegally obtaining a journalist's information
Q: Patrick, the police have admitted that they acted illegally. Should there be prosecutions?
I think there are questions to be asked to the police ombudsman how that is progressing.
Questions remain for the PSNI after they admit to illegally obtaining a journalist's information
Q: What would you say finally to John Boucher, the chief constable this morning?
I think we do need assurances that this can't happen again.
