本とこラジオ第132回目は、矢萩多聞の新刊『 ぼくのスパイス宇宙』特集。つい先日発売されたばかりのこの本のふたりの編集者とおしゃべりします。前半は元本となったZine「お調子者のスパイス生活」を一緒につくった三輪舎／本屋生活綴方の中岡祐介さん。後半は単行本の担当、フリー編集者の林さやかさんです。たんなる食べものエッセイではなく、生き方や宇宙に視野が広がっていく「スパイス・エッセイ」はいかにして生まれたのか。この本をつくるなかで考えたことをぽつぽつ語ります。
