  • Great Pod

Great pod. Kenny does a fantastic job of explaining topics. What’s more is his knack for finding guests of different backgrounds. I’m not a doctor but I found great value in his “side hustles” “real estate” and “credit” episodes.

  • The best

I could listen to “behind the drapes” for hours! This podcast is perfect for those who love listening to stories especially medical ones. Every time Dr. John has a guest on, hearing their past experiences really provides insight into a Doctor’s life. It is interesting how not one physician is the same and the information they each share is unique.

  • An Accessible and Personal View Into Medicine

Having listened to the trailers and first episode, I’m excited to see where this podcast goes! The host leans into his personal connections with his guests to have conversations about what it’s like working in medicine without feeling too formal. This helped me relate and understand without being a medical expert!

I love the informality of the conversation taking place. Love the learning as a non medical person.

The biggest thing would be blood loss, but also considering potential cardiac issues or medications causing hypotension.
BTD#2: Vasoplegia (ft Dr. Rachel Baker)
Q: How did you find the opportunity to write up the case and what motivated you to do that?
I found the opportunity during a night shift when I took over a case, and I was motivated by the need to address the patient's persistent hypotension effectively.
