Our friend Ian Burns returns. I thought he was the first guest to return twice, but he no, that honor belongs to Jesse Phillips. Regardless, Ian is back and we have fun just chatting, like we do when we have lunch together.
An interview with the incredible bassist Norm Stockton. Norm has played for years with Lincoln Brewster as well as many other well known artists. He is also a leading bass instructor and has his own solo albums that feature some outstanding music. ... more
Jermaine Morgan is one of the top online Gospel bass instructors. In this episode we interview Jermaine and get a lot of good insight to playing Gospel bass.
Both Chris McClarney and Jesse Phillips are interviewed together in this episode. They talk about their new record label, Real Fun Records, songwriting and some fun backstories. Don't miss this interview!
I listened to one episode. I’m 1/3 of the way through (15 minutes), and the host is still talking about himself. We haven’t got to the content yet…and we’re almost halfway through.

Very informative to a very specific audience! Wish you all the best!
Brent does a great job as a “boots on the ground” bassist in worship. There are not a lot of podcasts with this specific focus and I’m glad he’s doing what he’s doing. I’m primarily a guitar player in church but I have been falling in love with bass and this podcast has been very helpful!
This podcast shares tips, tricks & experience from the studio and live (very “alive”) experiences & testimonies from different nuances of journeys in music ministry. I’d love to hear from some Caribbean and Gospel bassists one day.
