I am traveling to the Philippines next month and thought I would look for podcasts to learn a little bit about the culture. I was lucky to find Banana Q. The topics are relevant and the hosts are very funny. It is very informative to get a native perspective. I want to be respectful of the culture on my visit. I have only listened to a handful of episodes but I feel like I have learned a lot already. I have often found myself laughing out load. Highly recommend!
I enjoy that Dee and Rey make each episode light and at the same time stimulating. And I love that they do their research. You know that they put emphasis on preparation but at the same time their spontaneity makes their conversation seamless, not to mention humorous at times.
Omg I love listening to this duo, especially Dee - she’s so real and down-to-earth! More more more :)
Funny entertaining educational just like chatting with your old pals
