Liebe Anh, vielen Dank für diesen interessanten Podcast. Ich bin Berlinerin mit asiatischen Wurzeln und wurde durch die Wende auch sehr geprägt.
Alltags Rassimus begegnet mir noch heute und ich bin auch mit dem Credo aufgewachsen „bloß nicht auffallen und sich stets anpassen“. Ich habe auch die Kultur meiner Eltern so sehr abgestreift, dass außer der Kulinarik meiner sogenannten zweiten Heimat kaum noch etwas übrig ist, was ich sehr bedaure.
Ich freue mich auf weitere, spannende Folgen!!

Der Podcast hat mich mit dem Begriff Heimat ein Stück weit versöhnt. Dieses Wort gibt es in meiner Herkunftsprache Französisch nicht, zumindest nicht genau. Ich habe es lange mit viel Skepsis betrachtet, es war für mich eine ungerechte und suspekte Vorschrift, eine idealisierte Vorstellung einer Ursprünglichkeit die es nicht wirklich gibt, aber als potentes Ausschlussmechanismus funktioniert.
