Never have this “film critic” on again! He blathered on and on. This is a man who has the ability of a thirteen year old to “analyze” film. He very slowly just described what happened in the movies he saw, and there wasn’t much happening. In terms of film style criticism he used expressions like artsy fartsy and fell good. It was excruciating.

  • Amazing film podcast for snobs and newbies alike!!!

As a self-proclaimed amateur film snob, I enjoy this show IMMENSELY! I learn so much new good information and context for the films discussed, but never beyond my ability to understand it, and I’m confident the same would be true for a complete non-snob as well.

The host, Andrew, is super nice and intelligent, always offering keen observations, fair criticisms, worthwhile insight from his own personal experiences, and evoking great stories and responses from all his great guests.

What a fantastic show. I love hearing Andrew and company breaking down cinema. Not loud and obnoxious with their takes, always a pleasure to listen to them discuss a new film.
