I loved this recording, but I couldn’t understand Ruby Gillis’, Diana’s, or Mrs. Skimmer’s voices very well. But otherwise it was great!
The voices are pretty robotic sounding at times compared to other audiobook recordings. You’ll hate the voice of Davey. I have no idea why they chose to emphasize words the way they did. I had to skip ahead sometimes it was so grating.
I am enjoying this a lot and would recommend loyal books versions of Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. My only issue is that I am finding it very difficult to understand Ruby Gillis’ voice actor, I’m afraid.
Good version and most readers are a good fit. Adore the Anne/Narrator the best!
Pretty good, except for whoever read for Ruby Gillis—couldn’t understand a word.
