The voices are pretty robotic sounding at times compared to other audiobook recordings. You’ll hate the voice of Davey. I have no idea why they chose to emphasize words the way they did. I had to skip ahead sometimes it was so grating.

I am enjoying this a lot and would recommend loyal books versions of Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. My only issue is that I am finding it very difficult to understand Ruby Gillis’ voice actor, I’m afraid.

I was sad to see that a few narrators were different than previous books but it worked out. Except for Ruby. I could not understand more than a couple words in a row from that narrator.
