Feen watched the 90s isekai slash magical girl slash fantasy slash mecha anime Magic Knight Rayearth. It is many things, because it's CLAMP and they cannot be stopped.

In a return to our Slushie roots, Cube is extremely mad about something dumb with no stakes whatsoever: The 2023 Super Mario Bros. Movie! Join us as she yells at Feen for two hours plus.

Here's a little round up of some recent anime we've enjoyed! Mostly Skip and Loafer, but also Kawaisugi Crisis and God Bless the Mistaken. Feen also finished watching Key the Metal Idol and sadly didn't have a good time.

We finally watched the final "season" of Magia Record. Finally. We learnt all about Kuroe's deal, there's several suicides and some really silly chairs.

This creature is to my liking—this creature that is called Anime Slushie. I adore this. Binge and rebinge the complaining about stupid shows, gorge thyself upon the sumptuous feast of love for awesome stuff.
I wish for its continuation. Maybe one day I can be like you. But not like you.
Cube. Feen. I love it. Corinth too even though that only happened a few times.
Injecting leftist viewpoints where they’re not there - why am I surprised? Stop projecting your politics onto shows that aren’t making inherently political statements. It makes all of your other thoughts and commentary inherently less valuable and makes me regret spending any time listening to your show in the first place. Investing hours to then get preached at is gross.
Cube and Feen probably get this a lot, but listening to them talk about RWBY was much more entertaining than the show itself. I have not watched Wonder Egg yet (and I actually still plan on watching it), but thanks to these two I know to temper my expectations a bit the minute they compared it to Made in Abyss.
The optimal way to enjoy RWBY (and all the other terrible trash they watch) , without having to suffer through the show yourself.
This show has brought me a ton of joy lately, got me back into anime, made me watch Madoka, and I couldn't be happier for it
It's really nice to listen to two friends with incredible communication and rapport talk about the stuff they love, and also the stuff they hate and why it's problematic
