Only recently discovered this podcast and I’m thoroughly enjoying it! Some episodes are gut busting funny. A must listen for Van Halen fans.
Just two fans of one of the greatest rock and roll bands in the world going through the entire Van Halen catalog one song at a time. Not experts, but plenty of guests and lively conversations. Plenty of live shows and album rating episodes. If you're a fan of any era of Van Halen, this shows for you.
I just discovered this podcast and have been furiously listening to the first 40+ episodes. At first I found myself yelling at my phone that they really know nothing about VH but once I understood their take I really found myself enjoying it. Listening to them hear some of these songs for the “first” time is making me hear those same songs in a different light. As a super fan of Van Halen, I really appreciate what they are doing. If you are looking for experts, go listen to Dave & Dave Uncha... more
Some of these reviews have a fundamental misunderstanding of what the podcast is. Corey and Mark love VH and love talking about it. They are not a Van Halen fact checking team. Many fans will find themselves frustrated with some of the dismissive comments on Roth’s lyrics, and the lack of basic historical knowledge of the band and songs. In some cases, there are entire blocks of songs (and certain albums) that one of the hosts has never heard before, or can’t reme... more
