Other than watching the games, listening to this podcast is the most enjoyable thing about being a Ducks fan (or Ducks "follower" for our French Canadian lawyer friend)
It used to be a 4 star for me. But now every pod from now on has to be listened through the filter of big sad Jake wanting Verbeek and Q fired. So all the analysis moving forward has his Eeyore stink on it until he has some kind of back door from Q doing philanthropic work. When in reality, he’s going to be okay with it once they’re fun and winning again.
Realistic, honest analysis of Anaheim Ducks games. Fun trade scenario conversations. Love the show.
Ever since I became a hockey and Ducks fan back in 2021, I have yet to miss an episode. They provide a great view of the game and even when I became a fan at the Duck’s worst (speaking of the 22/23 season), these two gave me anticipation for what the young guns on the team can become. Keep up the great work!
There are hockey pods where the hosts talk about the games, players, and staff. Then there are hockey pods where they do those things, but also teach you about the game. As a lifelong Ducks fan who never really played much hockey growing up, I have become a much more educated fan of both the Ducks organization and hockey in general. I actually look forward to my commute when there’s a new CTP! Keep it up, gents.
