  • Clear and Thought-Out, High Quality

I’m a native English speaker with no previous Amharic experience. I work with a family who speaks Amharic and this podcast boosted my understanding and conversational ability within the first couple episodes.

It has good audio, clear explanations, useful vocabulary, well-paced review, appropriately sized lessons, and dialogue to practice comprehension and speaking. I’d put this on par with the best audio-based language courses available for more commercialized foreign languages (like Spanish or... more

  • Great teacher, great podcast!

I’ve been learning Amharic for several months, and it’s not the easiest language to find good resources for. That’s why I was really excited when my tutor Nadir started this podcast. He’s a great teacher—very methodical and a lot of fun! I’ve already learned a lot from his lessons, and the podcast is a great extension of that. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
