They care about accessibility. Every episode has a transcript. They describe the pictures. They write quote and end quote so screen readers will read them even though most people have the punctuation turned off.
Thank you ARN for keeping us informed on topics of amateur radio.
ARN has been going non-stop, with a short break at the time of the founder’s passing, every week since 1976. The reporting is solid and non-biased, and covers all aspects of amateur radio, from the technical to the legal to the personal.
Bill Pasternak, WA6ITF, left a long legacy and huge shoes to fill when he passed away. The current staff and production quality carries that on.
With a volunteer team of international voices reporting from around the world, “Amateur Radio Newsline” continues the legacy of its founders, Jim Hendershot WA6VQP and Bill Pasternak WA6ITF by providing a professional-quality roundup of the happenings in the amateur radio community. Whether you are already a licensed amateur, or interested in becoming one, I’m sure you’ll find plenty of interesting information contained in each week’s episode!
