I listen to this awhile back but got away from it from some time. Not sure why but got the interested to check it out again and was suprised by some of the changes. I'm liking it even more now and tends to be on the top of my go to pile for podcasts.
Very imformative about the subjects that I care about. Steven really carries the show and is very entertaining while doing it. Have a listen and you will enjoy it!
Fun podcast that is great if you want to get caught up on geek stories going on around the world of pop culture.
One of the few one person shows I can listen too. Do enjoy when other guests are on as well. High recommend.
A podcast full of random topics I love to listen to each week.
I used to enjoy this podcast for the most part. But over the last month or so it has gone steadily down hill. I feel like I am listening to a phone conversation of two people who are distracted by other things they find more important. The hosts (one of the original ones appeared to leave) try to open conversation but they are not able to construct full ideas very often. Maybe if they were more prepared it would lead to a better podcast. It seems like they just throw ideas out there to see what ... more
Another witty banter of Geekness with Steve "Megatron" Phillips, and TFGI Mike. It's like the shuffle option on your MP3 Player. Great conversations, great cast all around. Wonderful addition to the GCRN.
This show was recommended to me and I quickly found that it was a good recommendation. GCRN provides some great shows that have insightful guests and thoughtful discussions, so it’s no surprise that Altered Geek would be any different. However, Altered Geek is different in that the topics vary. You get a dose of geek culture, comics, movies, TV, tech, and other off-the-cuff topics. You’ll feel like you’re sitting at the table with a couple of friends just having a chat, and you’ll want to join i... more
This podcast just recently started but its been really neat so far. They cover pretty much anything in the geek community. I found I learn more listening to this then most other podcast. What I like is how they cover different topics week to week. They also do a lot of cool things to intereact with fans.
This may go down as my favorite new podcast of the year. Its one of the newst ones for Geekcast Radio and quickly went to the top. They talk about anything and everything, which is rare in podcasts. Love the laid back approach.
Altered Geek is one of the newest podcasts to the network, and its what got me back in full force. Tons of cool conversations about a bunch of random topics. I love not knowing what the next episode will bring. They seem to pick out what's interesting and go from there.
Just started listening and this podcast is great for all things geek. Covers s great variety of topics with awesome banter

Two hosts mix casual banter with deep dives into TV, film, animation, gaming, and tech, often weighing industry shifts like streaming dynamics, theater pricing, mega-mergers, AI use in media, and rights changes. The conversations span nostalgia for classic media, talk of conventions and collecting, and playful debates about future trends, with guests occasionally joining to kick off discussions. The tone stays informal and opinionated, offering listeners a mix of timely industry analysis and fan-focused culture insights, alongside practical sponsor and advertising chatter. Expect varied topics, quick pivots between tech and pop culture, and a willingness to push provocative takes while keeping the conversation approachable for geeks and cas... more
