Πέρα από το ότι η αφήγηση είναι μονότονη και κουραστική, υπάρχει συνεχής και εντελώς άσχετη αναφορά στην εθνικότητα των δραστών (“ο Αλβανός εγκληματίας” κτλ.), λες και αυτό εξηγεί ή δικαιολογεί το έγκλημα. Αντί για σοβαρή true crime δημοσιογραφία, αναπαράγονται στερεότυπα και ξενοφοβικά υπονοούμενα. Το true crime μπορεί να είναι ενδιαφέρον χωρίς να στοχοποιεί ολόκληρους λαούς.»
