  • MJ talks under water!

MJ creates a compelling narrative of players that just unfolds in front of us as he discusses the pros and cons of players, team structures and where they fit in the landscape. Really enjoyed all your PODS this year, still a few top 50’s to listen to but it’s a resource that won’t get old! Thanks for your efforts 5star!

  • Quality Show

Very informative as usual MJ and loving the variety of quality guests you’re bringing onto the show 👏.. Plenty of movement in the off season which will likely improve side’s structures & performances so pre-season will be a good watch. New roles will hopefully give us the opportunity to pick more unique teams.

  • Quality

I listen to a lot of podcasts & your sound is just terrible with fading in and out. Even sounds like certain player preferences are getting filtered & edited out at times.

If that isn’t bad enough, you’ve gone and added TINDER ADDS… WT..!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Round Four Strategy Session
Q: Is there a strategy we should adopt for trading players based on their upcoming fixtures?
Absolutely, especially for premium players. Evaluating their upcoming matchups can inform your decisions, especially during critical weeks leading into the best 22.
Round Four Strategy Session
Q: How do you weigh the job security of rookies versus their immediate scoring potential when making trade decisions?
Job security is paramount; it's important to prioritize players who will consistently remain in the lineup and contribute rather than chasing flash-in-the-pan performances that won't last.
Preseason Strategy: Game Postponements and the impacts for AFL Fantasy & SuperCoach
Q: How do you clear the mental palate to be able to make a decision that you feel comfortable with?
It's not easy to tap across all of these things. Everyone has players that they love watching, players that are in your own club, or players that you enjoy historically. Balancing head, heart, and FOMO is challenging, and you must trust the stats alongside the eye test to make decisions.
#1 Most Relevant | Tristan Xerri
Q: What do these two scoring columns of Xerri hold for us? Are they sustainable into a new season?
Xerri is expected to maintain a high tackle count, though perhaps not at 7.5 tackles per game uniformly. His foundational scoring may still yield high averages if the midfield improves and fixtures align favorably.
#17 Most Relevant | Clayton Oliver
Q: How do you see Clayton's potential performance for 2025?
If everything is on track, he could be a top pick because even at 90% of his potential, he remains a valuable asset for teams.
