You may know Eli Harwood from her popular Instagram account Attachment Nerd, but what you may not know is that Eli is also a brilliant adoption-competent therapist who spent two years living in Seoul working with Korean adoptees at the beginning of h... more
It’s been a minute but we’re back! And we’ve missed you! Catch up with us from Hana’s car as we reflect on the past year, and have an (awkward but very real) convo about career changes, perceived failure, and navigating big life transitions.
Friendship might seem like a random topic for an adoptee podcast, and this series - of which the current episode is the first - is an experiment, tbh, like a lot of things we do here. But lately we’ve been thinking about it a lot. Maybe it’s because ... more

Hana and Ryan do an excellent job of facilitating deep conversations about an array of topics surrounding adoption. They don’t oversimplify or assume that all adoptees are the same, yet they get to the heart of many adoption issues. They show a lovely vulnerability and bring out the best in their diverse lineup of guests. Keep it up!
Thank you Hanna and Ryan for sharing you’ve taught me so much xxx
Wow. Just …. Wow. This podcast really hit home for me. I’ve only listened to maybe 2-3 episodes so far, but I gotta say, these 2 hosts are the most wholesome representatives of the adoptee community. I really can’t describe how relatable their content is and how sensitive they are to every adoptee experience. Hope they continue this journey and I can’t wait to follow along as I process the adoptee journey as well.
Hana & Ryan have great chemistry while navigating a whole range of complex adoptee topics with care and respect. As credit to their current and previous contributions to the adoptee network, they are able to host some really amazing guests who help us understand a broad cross-section of adoptee feels.
I don’t say this lightly, hearing stories of other adoptees and Hana’s and Ryan’s personal experiences has been life changing.
