  • Disconnected

This is an oddly hosted podcast with two people who feel wholly unfamiliar and disconnected from the show’s subject matter. The constant references to “the source” were awkward and made me believe that neither host had ever watched a single episode of Dutton Ranch. This feels like a lazy effort, at best.

  • Holy Scripted

The podcast covers some shows that are not widely covered. The problem is that they are obviously reading off AI generated scripts… verbatim. If they had AI read it their rhythm might seem more natural.

  • Reading a script?

Really smart and thoughtful reviews that I appreciate but wish the hosts were genuinely conversing. They are so obviously reading off the page that it’s hard to actually enjoy and absorb what they are saying. The occasional “right!” and “yea!” is silly, the back and forth is corny and not real sounding at all, and overall, the “reading” distracts from genuinely good content. Bummer!
