The host is knowledgeable and provides thoughtful insights. I would have given her five stars if not for the fact that it’s hard to listen to her voice for any length of time. While she exudes confidence in the information she’s providing, her voice quality is irritating due to a combination of vocal fry and little girl tone. Perhaps she can consult with a speech language pathologist to work on improving these dysfunctional attributes.

This podcast is an absolute joy to listen to. Dr. Pfeiffer does a wonderful job of blending together information and storytelling, featuring guests but also sharing her own experiences. I am not an SLP, but learn a lot from this podcast. I recommend it to anyone doing clinical or research work in child development and pediatric health areas.
