This is such a lovely podcast. I’m up in the middle of the night in Australia, having been woken by my kitten, full of beans and purrs. So I’m up alone, ironing sheets for my BnB. The kitten is playing at my feet and with each episode I’m remembering my treasured visit to Chawton in 2017. The narrators have soothing voices and bring Chawton, Jane’s novels and Jane herself to life. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!
I cannot adequately exempt delight when I set off in my drive today to find a new episode in 2026 a year after all the 250th celebrations. This show is transporting, calming, enlightening and all around delightful. What a terrific concept to base it on the seasons. You got me through a difficult 2025 and I look forward to the rest of this year.
