Reviews

2.3 out of 5 stars from 3 ratings
  • This performance sounds as if it were being read by a foreigner who keeps losing his place in the script. (By "foreigner," I mean someone who is not a native English speaker. This classic novel was written by perhaps the most famous British author who ever lived. I prefer to hear it performed by native Brits, or, at least by native speakers of English.) The chapters are played out of order, and lines within chapters are delivered out of sequence, as well as with misplaced pauses and emphasis.
