As a 90s kid (born in 81’) this podcast hits me in the feels! I didnt get to go to WDW till recently, 2x since 2017, but i was a yearly traveler to Disneyland from Az. • It’s Time To Remember!

I’m on my 4th relisten of the podcast and it’s my go-to for my nostalgia needs. A lot of stories told in these episodes are those that match my own and it’s so fun to hear them reminisce and educate audiences on attractions both classic, defunct, and somewhere in between. Recommend this podcast to anyone who has a lot of reverence for the Disney Decade and wants to learn more about the people and ideas that made it such a fertile time period for creativity within Disney.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

82.5 - Interview with Jeff Blyth
Q: Was Robin Williams ever tied to the Aladdin marketing controversy as a reason for not returning to Timekeeper?
No. The project's Robin Williams involvement was consistent with directorial decisions; the myth about a single table read and marketing disputes is false, and the recording process for Timekeeper occurred across multiple sessions with additional voice talent.
82.5 - Interview with Jeff Blyth
Q: How involved were you with the audio voices in the theater, like Robin Williams and Rhea Pearlman, for Timekeeper?
Jeff handled directing the voice performances; Robin Williams and Rhea Pearlman contributed as main voices, with Robin also recording in a separate booth for immediacy and later pickups for the theater version, and the French language contributions involved a French comedian after some initial pushback from the studio.
73 - Muppet Treasure Island
Q: Did you guys remember seeing this movie in the theater?
The hosts discuss their various experiences of watching the movie during its release, with some re-collecting memories of seeing it in theaters and others leaning towards VHS viewings.
53.5 - Mike's Cruise and WDW Trip Report
Q: Disney Cruise wise, when do you want to do another one?
Yeah, I want to be like a year or two years. If I do it again, I would want to do a new ship, because again, it's like, why not see all the new stuff?
