  • THE ANNOYING FIREFIGHTER GUY SHOW👎👎

All this show consists of is the same three friends of the show(including some annoying dude from new york who talks for half the show about his life) who are just simple wrestling fans. The hosts of the show let these same guys talk for ninety percent of the show. I could see if it was a call in concept of a show but its the same guys every time. Dumb. Its also the one host promoting his events and stuff too, which is lame because not everyone lives by your store. Its an awesome idea for a podc... more

  • Tommy and too much self promotion

Tommy constantly takes the show over and plugs his own crap for 15 minutes.

  • It’s 80s wrestling not an ISBW podcast right?

It’s turned into so much talk about an indie promotion that I’m just not interested in. Could you please just make a podcast for that and keep this 80s wrestling content.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Wrestling Biographies
Q: What are the differences between autobiographies written by wrestlers and those done by ghostwriters?
Wrestlers who write their own autobiographies usually convey their personal voice better, while those done by ghostwriters often do have the wrestler's input but may lack a personal touch.
Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling
Q: Kathy, did it mean anything to you as a young girl to see an all female Wrestling Federation on TV?
It was really cool because they didn't have anything like that. I loved the characters and the gimmicks.
Polka Dotted Dusty
Q: Was the Polka Dot gimmick punishment or genius?
It was more of a clever way to make him colorful rather than mock him.
The Nasty Boys
Q: Where do you put them in the landscape of tag team wrestling in the 90s?
They wouldn't make my top five list; there were better all around teams, but they shared the ring with a lot of greats.
The Nasty Boys
Q: Did you see them at the time as more of cartoonish heels, or did you see them as like legitimate street fighters in your eyes?
At first, I saw them as legitimate street fighters, but they transitioned into more cartoonish characters later on.
