  • Compelling Gothic Horror

1490 DOOM is a very fun horror podcast, gothic and dark but compelling nonetheless. I’ve listened to it multiple times and it still surprises me with unnoticed plot twists. The characters are well-made, fun to read and interesting. The Creeping Death seems like something out of the Bibel or Warhammer, but still well thought through.

  • Grimdark medieval apocalypse.

I really like the setting and atmosphere of 1490: Doom and also the ever hanging feeling that death is just around the corner.

I do not like the AI voice narrator. Sometimes it feels more robotic and stale then actuall good AI but other then that I really liked it.
