New Feature: Historical Podcast Listener Trends

When it comes to podcast guesting or sponsorship decisions, listener numbers play a crucial role. But looking beyond the current figures is valuable to see where a show is headed. Is their audience shrinking, growing or plateauing?

We're excited to present Rephonic's newest feature: the ability to delve into the historical listener data for any podcast.

Please note that we started recording historical data in mid-2022.

Rephonic collects snapshots of estimated listener numbers over time, which we've translated into user-friendly trends charts like the one you see above.

Here's how to find historical listener data on Rephonic.

  1. Search: Find podcasts by topic, title, or publisher using the search bar
  2. Select: Tap on a podcast to access its information page
  3. Explore trends: Hit the trend icon beside "Listeners per Episode" in the Audience info section to access the podcast's historical data

In just a few clicks, you'll be able to see whether a show is trending upwards, downwards, or hitting a plateau.

If you're looking to get featured on podcasts and you're new to Rephonic, it's time to get started with our free trial.

You'll get access to these charts and tons of other invaluable podcast data like social reach, contact info, ratings, reviews, engagement scores and lots more.
